The main story revolves around a man named Kardox, who joined a revolutionary group in Kurdistan to resist the invading Turks, Arabs, and Persians. Through his exceptional leadership skills, Kardox quickly rose through the ranks and eventually became the new leader of the group. During his tenure, Kardox dedicated himself to fostering unity among the various separatist groups in the region, recognizing that the lack of unity was the main obstacle to the Kurdish cause. He successfully united three revolutionary factions under his banner and initiated a revolution in Bakur, the northern region of Kurdistan.
Kardox’s triumphs attracted the attention of other Kurdish groups, who eagerly joined his cause. The strength of his fighters was unparalleled, making it impossible for Turkish and Arabian forces to penetrate their defenses. It was in the heartland of Kurdistan, close to the so called Kurdish wilds, where the clash of swords and the chants of warriors reverberate through the ancient mountains. This is the place where The Battle of Two Races would take place, and this battle showed the indomitable spirit of Kardox, and his army of ten thousands courageous Kurdish fighters.
As Kardox’s army drew closer, the Turkish forces readied themselves for the ultimate clash. The clash of swords and the thunder of war drums filled the air as the two races prepared for an epic confrontation that would shape the destiny of Kurdistan.
The battle of The Two Races also marked the first chapter of the close rivalry between Kardox, and the notorious Jash Leader who led the remaining fighters of the Turks.
The sun hung high in the sky, casting its golden rays upon the battlefield, illuminating the ense forest and rolling hills where the clash would unfold. Kardox stood resolute with his army, their heart beating in unison, their eyes reflecting a fiery resolve.
With a deafening war cry that resonated through the air, the Kurdish forces charged forward, their footsteps shaking the very ground beneath them. Clad in armor adorned with the sun symbol of their homeland, they wielded their weapons with skill and precision, determined to defend their people and reclaim their freedom.
The clash of swords, the clash of cultures, the clash between good and evil loomed ever closer.
Kardox, a master strategist and skilled warrior, led his forces with calculated precision. He inspired his fighters, his voice echoing over the chaos of battle, rallying their spirits to new heights. The Kurdish archers, perched on vantage points, showered the enemy with a barrage of arrows, piercing their defenses and sowing chaos among their ranks.
Through sheer will and strategic brilliance, Kardox and his warriors exploited the weaknesses in the Turkish forces’ defense. They launched calculated assaults, striking at crucial points and weakening the enemy’s cohesion. The Turkish soldiers, caught off guard by the unconventional tactics of the Kurds, faltered in their resolve.
As the sun began its descent, painting the sky with hues of red and gold, the tide of battle turned decisively in favor of the Kurdish fighters. The Turkish forces, their ranks shattered and their spirits waning, found themselves on the brink of defeat. Kardox seized the opportunity, leading a final charge that broke through the enemy lines with unparalleled ferocity.
The echoes of victory resonated through the Kurdish Wilds as the Turkish forces were pushed back, forced to flee north towards the mountains of the untold.
The Battle of Two Races reached its climax as the Kurdish fighters stood tall, their flags waving proudly in the wind. The air was heavy with the scent of victory and the echoes of their triumph. The forces of Kardox had prevailed, liberating the Kurdish Wilds and so finally all of Kurdistan.
Through a relentless campaign, Kardox had liberated Kurdistan from the invaders, proclaiming the establishment of the first Kurdish monarchy and declaring himself the king of Kurdistan. His loyal fighters became the esteemed Royal Army of the Sun. For a second time, the Kurdish people experienced an era of peace and prosperity, which lasted for approximately 20 years.
However, this newfound peace was soon shattered by the emergence of a new threat. In the northern volcanos, where the Turks had taken refuge, a man named Nazim stumbled upon the ancient ruins of The Serpent, an age-old structure constructed during the era of Zuhak. Unbeknownst to Nazim, his actions inadvertently resurrected the vengeful spirit of Zuhak, whose serpents were defeated long ago by Kawa The Blacksmith. Although physically transformed, Zuhak’s malevolent spirit remained, driven by an insatiable thirst for revenge against Kawa and all the Kurdish people.
In the ancient lands of Eldoria, where legends and battles intertwine, a dark chapter unfolds. The realm trembles as Zuhak, a formidable warlord fueled by ambition and dark sorcery, sets his sights on conquering the majestic region of Kurdistan. But before he could embark on this grand campaign, Zuhak had to secure the allegiance of the Turkish Wolf Clan, a fearsome force comprised of over 80,000 warriors and their loyal companions, the armies of white wolves.
With his eyes gleaming with power, Zuhak appeared before the Turkish Wolf Clan, their hearts pounding with anticipation. The battlefield became the stage for a clash of titans, as Zuhak, a master of both blade and sorcery, challenged the Clan’s leader, Selim the Cruel. The clash was fierce, but it quickly became apparent that Zuhak’s dark powers far surpassed Selim’s mortal strength. With a devastating display of sorcery, Zuhak emerged victorious, shattering Selim’s defenses and leaving no room for doubt.
As whispers of dissent began to murmur among Selim’s loyalists, questioning the fairness of employing sorcery in battle, Zuhak swiftly silenced them. The disloyal few met their grim fate at Zuhak’s hands, their lives snuffed out in an instant. The execution sent a chilling message, leaving no doubt that Zuhak had become the undisputed leader of the Turkish Wolf Clan.
Now in command of this vast and formidable army, Zuhak utilized his dark sorcery to bend the white wolves to his will. The once mighty creatures transformed into even larger, more menacing beasts under Zuhak’s unholy influence, their loyalty pledged solely to their new master. With this powerful force at his disposal, Zuhak set his gaze upon the lands of Kurdistan, where his dark reign would take root.
The Turkish Wolf Clan, now under the rule of Zuhak, stands as a harbinger of destruction, its numbers vast and its wolves transformed into savage predators. As the shadows of war stretch across the land, the fate of Eldoria hangs in the balance. Will Zuhak’s dark dominion prevail, or will a band of brave heroes rise to challenge his tyranny and bring hope back to the realm? The Chronicles of Eldoria await their champions…
Spending years in the volcano, Zuhak reassembled his troops, comprising not only Turks but also Arabs and Persians. Mastering the dark sorcery of Corruption, Zuhak twisted and corrupted animals and beasts to serve his bidding. Giants, enormous spiders, snakes, large wolves, and monstrous bats all became part of the invading force.
The invasion of Kurdistan commenced at the border between Bakur and the Volcano. Zuhak’s forces caught the Kurdish Royal Scouts off guard in the mountains, utilizing frozen giants to demolish the scout towers. A few Kurdish fighters managed to escape on horseback and raced to warn King Kardox of the impending danger. Upon receiving the message in Amed, the capital of Bakur, the local captain swiftly sent a dove carrying the news to King Kardox in Hewler. Responding immediately, the king reinforced the city of Riha in the northwest and Amed itself with hundreds of thousands of Kurdish fighters. Additionally, King Kardox ordered scouts in the north to evacuate as many innocent civilians from Bakur as possible, relocating them southwards to the city of Hewler.
Distressing reports arrived daily, detailing the fall of village after village and city after city to the cruelty of Zuhak’s forces. Eventually, Zuhak’s armies reached Elih, where the first major battle, known as the Battle of Elih, took place. King Kardox bolstered the city’s defenses with 50,000 fighters alongside the city’s own contingent of approximately 3,000 fighters. Despite their efforts, the enemy amassed outside the city walls in overwhelming numbers. The Turks, under Zuhak’s command, displayed unparalleled brutality during the battle, not only decimating the Kurdish army in Riha but also targeting the remaining civilians. After nine days of fierce fighting, Zuhak gained complete control of the city, setting his sights on capturing Amed and Dersim.
In the midst of the battle for Amed, the infamous Jash Leader emerged. Once a trusted general to King Kardox during the initial revolution that established the Kurdish monarchy, the Jash Leader’s thirst for power led to his exile in the northern volcano. It is said that he cursed the king for banishing him to the lands of the dead, dedicating the rest of his life to seeking revenge. Eventually, the Jash Leader joined forces with Zuhak’s army and led a siege on Amed. The city, defended by approximately 66,000 fighters, proved no match for the sorcery wielded by the Jash Leader and his forces. Amed was ruthlessly destroyed, and its inhabitants were imprisoned within the walls of Diyarbakir Prison, which the Jash Leader claimed as his new stronghold.
Within a matter of days, all of Bakur fell under the wrath of Zuhak, and the border facing Bashur, Rojava, and Rojhelat became heavily guarded by Kurdish forces as King Kardox strategized on how to liberate the north. However, the Kurds faced another unexpected onslaught. From the Arabian deserts, a formidable alliance of Arabian clans infiltrated Bashur and Rojava, while Persian Pirates from the Persian seas invaded the eastern borders of Rojhelat. With the majority of his fighters deployed on the northern front against Zuhak and the Turks, King Kardox could only watch helplessly as Bashur and Rojhelat succumbed to the invaders. The cities of Duhok, Derbendixan, Halabja, and Kermanshan were all occupied, and hundreds of thousands of Kurds fell victim to an apparent genocide.
Simultaneously, Zuhak launched renewed attacks on the heavily fortified walls separating Bashur from Bakur. It became evident that Zuhak had orchestrated a multi-front invasion, exerting control not only over the Turks but also the Persians and Arabs. Countless Kurdish lives were devastated on that fateful day. King Kardox, recognizing the dire situation, issued a complete retreat to the capital of Kurdistan, Hewler.
In Kobane, a city in Rojava, approximately 3,000 fighters defied the king’s orders and chose to defend the city. The civilians residing in Kobane refused to abandon their homes, leading the fighters to stand their ground, unwilling to abandon the populace to certain death. Although the Kurds lost every battle across Kurdistan, the city of Kobane became a symbol of resistance as the 3,000 fighters successfully withstood an army of 10,000 during the week-long Battle of Kobani. However, upon learning of his first defeat in Rojava, Zuhak dispatched an additional legion of 22,000 fighters to surround the remaining 700 Kurdish defenders in Kobani. The city fell to Zuhak’s forces, and all its inhabitants were executed.
Hewler, renowned for its formidable walls, had never been invaded before. Millions of Kurds sought refuge within its protective boundaries, fleeing from the invaders who had already claimed the lives of at least a million Kurds. Zuhak’s army encircled the city, overwhelming it with their sheer numbers. Arab, Turkish, and Persian forces were all present. Zuhak constructed a massive siege tower to the east, preparing for the final invasion. Sensing the imminent threat, King Kardox ordered his closest confidants to escort his family out of the city through the underground sewer systems. The men took King Kardox’s oldest daughter, Rojda, and the youngest child (the player) and began their perilous journey to safety.
However, their escape was foiled when they were ambushed by Arabian fighters, accompanied by Kurdish Jashes, inside the sewers. Before them stood the Jash Leader himself. A brief but intense battle ensued, during which the Arabs seized the two royal children and vanished into the desert. One of the surviving escorts managed to climb a high hill, offering a panoramic view of Kurdistan. Everywhere he looked, he saw smoke and destruction. Directly in front of him, Hewler, the capital city, was under enemy occupation, signifying the official downfall of the Kurdish nation.
In the following days, the vast majority of the Kurdish population was eradicated, plunging the land into darkness and despair. And it is in this devastated world, invaded by Zuhak and his Arabian, Turkish, and Persian fighters, that the game begins, with the player navigating a world torn apart by war and seeking to reclaim Kurdistan.
